The twenty-first Century society is a highly developed information society with information technology and high technology. China Beijing international science and Technology Industry Expo (abbreviated "the science fair") is sponsored by the Ministry of science and technology, the State Intellectual Property Office, the China Trade Promotion Association and the people's *of Beijing, and the Beijing Trade Promotion Association (CCPIT) held the grand national level international scientific and technological exchange and cooperation held in Beijing in May.

It was founded in 1998. It was named "Beijing high technology industry international week of China". It was officially renamed as the science fair from the fifth session of 2002, and has been held for 21 consecutive times. The twenty-second Beijing Science Fair will open in May 16, 2019.
